The bar was originally known as

‘The Monico’, during the troubles, it was

used as a informal headquarters for

the world’s media. After being owned by

Tony diver and his daughter, it had

been completely refurbished before the

Covid-19 pandemic. Now owned by

Padraig Brennan since 2022, he has spent

the past 4 years enhancing the bar’s

reputation with amazing food options,

modern day cocktails and lagers, and

traditional Irish music now being

played during the weekend.
